If you have been in our offices, or been scheduling online lately, you know we are planning to be closed for two weeks for renovations in April 2025.
As we all know, change can be challenging. When we feel uncertain, we reach for familiar things to ground us, make us feel in control, and to comfort us. Change can make us anxious, tired, overwhelmed, sad, angry, or fearful. Change can also make us feel excited, refreshed, hopeful, and can provide much needed perspective. Change is, undoubtedly, part of life. It is ever present in our day to day, our work and personal lives, and our relationships. The uncertainty that change brings challenges us to meet the moment as best we can. As you cope with change, ask yourself this question: am I meeting this change with negative thoughts or positive ones? Which one will contribute to my overall mental health? We appreciate your flexibility and patience during our planned renovations. Your clinician will have more details on their Telehealth offerings during these two weeks to continue to meet your needs, so please speak to them individually. You can also utilize the Telehealth option through the online portal for clinicians that utilize it to schedule to make appointments at your convenience. We have been in this space for five years, and it has served us well, but like so many of us, it needs a little love. So, we are embracing change.... hopeful and excited about the new space we will have to offer you, and the flexibility of thought we will have all learned in the process! |
