Jessica Henkel earned her undergraduate degree from Elon University, and went on to the University of Maryland, Baltimore, for her Masters in Clinical Social Work. Jessica has over fifteen years experience working in a variety of clinical settings~including inpatient psychiatric care, residential treatment services, schools and outpatient settings. She began her own private practice, Henkel Counseling and Consulting, PLLC in 2021.
Jessica works with children in middle school and older, adolescents and adults. She has received post graduate training through the International OCD Foundation utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). Jessica is also trained in Level 2 EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy) for trauma treatment. Jessica, her husband, and their four children love living in the Lake Norman area. As a foster family, they may occasionally be found with additional family members, which is always an adventure! Jessica loves reading historical fiction and thrillers, going for hikes and bike rides, and spending time with loved ones. |

Jessica is eager to meet with you in person or telehealth for your counseling experience.
Jessica offers daytime and some afternoon appointments during the week.
Non-insurance rates are as follows:
Assessments/Initial Evaluations: $150/hour
Individual therapy hours thereafter: $125/hour
A detailed good faith estimate of services will be provided to those clients
not using insurance at the time of service or upon request.
Henkel Counseling & Consulting, PLLC maintains contracts with the above insurance companies.
If you are using in-network insurance, your rates will differ based on those contracts.
